Summertime in Europe is one of my favorite things. There are markets, fests, and events nearly every weekend. Most are kid-friendly, so I can tote my happy little people along to the fun.

My husband and I decided to hit up the Fish Festival recently.
Now, just hearing the name "Fish Fest" does not do the event justice. I think if someone asked me in America to go to a Fish Fest, I would screw up my face and not-so-politely decline.
But truly, it is loads of fun.

We wandered around, enjoying the atmosphere (and of course the bubbly wine), and it suddenly dawned on me that I should take pictures. It is an ordinary event for a local, but I more than likely won't always be here, and I want to remember the magic. Deutschland is a fabulous place.
